Exact Match Masonry Staining™ for Pre-Cast and Brick Staining for Historical Restoration

Exact Match Masonry Staining’s™ work on this project was featured in Masonry Design Magazine’s September/October 2008 Issue on page 32. This former Coca-Cola Bottling Works was being restored and adapted for reuse as a climate controlled self-storage building. Built in 1942, the plant was partially covered by a prefabricated metal addition. After tearing the metal off, the team of architects were disappointed to see that some of the façade was damaged and missing. Fortunately they were able to have replacement precast sections made. The problem was the glaring difference between the old and the new precast. Exact Match Masonry Staining™ was called in to make the precast an exact match. Our team visually reduced excess mortar with staining techniques, matched brick from various stages of past renovation, and color corrected other very weathered precast which needed to be renewed to match.
