Q. What types of products can Exact Match Staining's system work with? 

Basically, if your masonry can accept water, it will accept our stains. We work with brick, mortar, split-face and architectural block, pre-cast concrete, natural and cultured/manufactured stone, architectural accents, indoor masonry and fire places, pavers, sidewalks and all concrete walkways. 

Q. Is there a difference between paint and Exact Match's staining system?

Yes, there is no comparison! Paint adheres to the surface and chips and peels away. Stain absorbs below the surface and becomes part of the masonry.

Q. Do you guarantee your staining system?

Yes, we do include a 30 year warranty on our work.

Q. How successful has staining proven itself to be? 

In Europe, where staining originated, there are structures which were stained over 50 years ago and they still look perfect.

Q. How durable is the stain exactly? It really won't peel or chip? 

Stain reacts with the brick or masonry and becomes as durable as the face of the masonry itself.

Q. Is it possible to see a sample?

Yes. On site samples can be arranged. Please call us for information.

Q. What stain colors are available?

We offer unlimited colors for an Exact Match. We customize the colors as well as the formulations on site for each individual job.

Q.What if I need to have brick or any masonry stained lighter?

We can stain lighter or darker.

Q. Can you color match my mortar?

We can stain masonry or mortar or both.

Q. How is the stain applied?

We generally apply the stain by hand one brick at a time. This allows us to control the application very carefully for best results.

Q. What if my brick is discontinued and I am adding on to my building?

Pick brick which is exact or close in texture to the existing brick and call us immediately. Once the brick is in place, we'll make it an Exact Match.
